Formed in 2006 by lead singer Davide Barbieri, Wheels of Fire quickly established themselves as one of the most respected names in the international melodic rock scene. A collaboration with Michele Luppi (Whitesnake), who listened to Davide’s early demos, led to the release of their debut album Hollywood Rocks in 2010. The record was enthusiastically received across Europe and South America, reaching number 42 in the prestigious Japanese magazine Burrn! charts.
Their follow-up album Up for Anything (2012) further solidified their reputation, earning excellent reviews in some of the world’s most important rock magazines, including Fireworks and Classic Rock.
After seven years of growth and experimentation, Begin Again was released in 2019, marking the beginning of a new musical chapter. The songs written by Davide and guitarist Stefano pushed the band towards more contemporary rock sounds while staying true to the band’s 80s melodic rock roots.
The latest chapter, All In, was released on March 21, 2025, and was immediately acclaimed by both critics and fans. The album highlights all the trademarks of Wheels of Fire: unforgettable vocal lines and choruses, powerful riffs, breathtaking guitar solos, refined keyboard and piano arrangements, all supported by a solid and energetic rhythm section. A top-level production enhances the band’s unique identity, showcasing their passion, faithfulness, and deep respect for this genre.
Over the years, Wheels of Fire have played countless shows, sharing the stage with internationally renowned artists such as Jeff Scott Soto, Hardline, Bonfire, Kee Marcello, Toby Hitchcock, Vega, 91 Suite, Wings of Steel, Lionville, Lipz, Danger Zone, and many more.
